“When we bought our pony he came with a saddle that was not a good fit and needed lots of pads underneath to make it bearable for him. So we decided to have a saddler come out to fit him with a fairly priced replacement – simples! But no, we were in for a shock as saddler after saddler visited our yard, each with a different opinion, each trying to sell whatever saddle came closest from what they had, and mostly for a four figure sum. Apparently our pony was a peculiar shape, being a 14.1hh high withered but fairly wide half bred Arab, but we could not understand why we were being given no alternative but to spend four figures (that we didn’t have!) on a saddle which still was not perfect for our pony. And then we discovered Saddle Exchange and there was our
solution. Expecting the same old story (sorry Gini and Dean!) we found that not only did their saddles fit, but we had a choice, all within a reasonable price bracket, of beautiful quality saddles. But the really extraordinary moment was when our pony instantly began moving in an entirely new way – loose and free, stretching long and low without a battle, there was absolutely no doubt that he was truly comfortable. Gini and Dean gave us all the time and expertise we needed and were so genuine in their desire for us to be happy that we could not consider going anywhere else for a saddle downloading amazon music does not work.
Having discovered Saddle Exchange when looking for a saddle for my daughter’s pony, I bought a beautiful Tor saddle for my pony. It’s clear that she’s happy in it, I’m very comfortable, the saddle is beautifully made, sensibly priced, and, as with Tara and Billy’s Tavy saddle, it gives the rider the feeling of being in much closer contact with the horse’s movement, unlike other saddles which are like a barrier between horse and rider in comparison. Marvelous in every way!”
Here are some videos showing Tara and Julia competing ( and winning!) in their Gp saddles
